We will endeavour to keep the personal information concerning you and your staff up to date, accurate and for a period which is no longer than is reasonably necessary for our businesses purposes. As a procuring body the Scottish Government is required to comply with The Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015. To ensure compliance the Scottish Government may use information it holds about you to determine whether you are the appropriate supplier for a tender. In addition, authorities to which you tender may share relevant information they hold about you with one another to help those authorities. They may also share and seek relevant information with the Police Service of Scotland and, if appropriate, other relevant authorities to ensure that Section 23 of the regulations are met.

Information is shared in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations.

To comply with the GDPR regulations we reserve the right to anonymize your registration details, although this will only be done 2 years after your registration renewal is expired and not renewed by you.

We also reserve the rights to remove postbox documents one year after the Contract is awarded. If no Award is published, documents will be deleted two years after the deadline date has passed. After this the postbox will contain only text files with a list of documents submitted for audit purposes.

Please be aware that under the General Data Protection Regulations information is shared for the purposes of preventing and detecting crime. These and other measures help protect communities and let legitimate business thrive whilst deterring those wishing to engage in criminality.
